In a post-finale interview with Hindustan Times, Apoorva—aka The Rebel Kid—spoke openly about discovering Purav was a traitor, the shock it caused, and why their story became the heart of the season.
Fans were captivated by the bond between Purav and Apoorva—two of the most strategic players in the game. But the moment Apoorva learned the truth about her close friend’s betrayal left her shaken.
“I was in shock for 20 minutes. Like this cannot happen!” Apoorva revealed. “I must have told Jannat (Zubair Rahmani) around 50 times that she must have gotten the wrong information.”
She added, “Then for the next 10 minutes, I cursed myself. He used to look into my eyes and say that he is not the traitor!”

Apoorva recalled the finale with a mix of laughter and nostalgia. “I think Jasmin (Bhasin)’s exit VD is my favorite where she says Uorfi murdered her,” she said, laughing. “I had told so many times that people will remember me, Jannat, and Sufi (Motiwala), and everyone else just forgot all of it the next morning!”
But her final words about Purav and Apoorva summed up the season perfectly: “I really wanted Purav to win.”
