Uttarakhand’s development story is set to reach a wider audience through music and creative expression. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami on Wednesday released a special album highlighting the state’s development journey and the achievements of his government over the past five years.
The album has been produced by Panchvati Films Production and Adarsh Audyogik Swatantra Sahkarita (Adarsh Sanstha). Through songs and music, it seeks to highlight Uttarakhand’s progress in areas such as employment, tourism, women’s empowerment and opportunities for the youth.
CM Dhami praises the musical initiative
The Uttarakhand Development Journey album was unveiled at the Chief Minister’s Camp Office. CM Pushkar Singh Dhami congratulated the producer, director, lyricist, music composer, singers, artists and office-bearers of Adarsh Sanstha associated with the project.
The Chief Minister said presenting the state’s development and positive changes through music is an appreciable initiative. He said creative platforms can help communicate the government’s work and the changing picture of Uttarakhand to people in an engaging manner.
Focus on employment and self-employment
CM Dhami said the state government is continuously working towards balanced and comprehensive development. Creating more employment and self-employment opportunities remains an important priority, along with opening new avenues for the younger generation.
He also highlighted the government’s efforts to promote tourism and strengthen opportunities for women. According to the Chief Minister, development initiatives are being pursued alongside efforts to preserve Uttarakhand’s rich culture, traditions and distinctive identity as Devbhoomi.
The Uttarakhand Development Journey reflected in the album therefore combines economic progress with the state’s cultural and social identity.
Culture and heritage remain central
Uttarakhand is known for its distinctive cultural traditions and heritage. CM Dhami said development should move forward while protecting and promoting this identity.
The album attempts to bring together these themes through music, presenting a creative narrative around the state’s progress, opportunities and achievements. The initiative is also aimed at connecting people with the broader story of Uttarakhand’s transformation.

During the programme, Adarsh Sanstha chairperson Asha Kothari welcomed the Chief Minister by presenting him with a shawl and a memento. She appreciated the development initiatives and public welfare decisions taken under his leadership.
