Rajasthan Government approves ₹80 crore relief package for 68,000 farmers in Dudu constituency affected by heavy rainfall during Kharif 2025. Funds to benefit farmers in Fagi, Mozamabad, and Dudu sub-divisions.
In a major relief for farmers, the Rajasthan government has approved a special assistance package of ₹80 crore for those affected by heavy rainfall and excessive moisture during the Kharif 2025 season in the Dudu constituency of Jaipur district. The move aims to support 68,689 farmers across three tehsils—Fagi, Mozamabad and Dudu—who suffered severe crop losses due to unseasonal rains.
Decision Taken Following Deputy Chief Minister’s Intervention
The relief package was approved after the active intervention of Deputy Chief Minister Dr. Premchand Bairwa, who raised the issue with Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and Cabinet Minister Dr. Kirodi Lal Meena. Considering the distress of affected farmers, CM Sharma immediately ordered a special girdauri (crop loss assessment). Based on the findings of this assessment, the government sanctioned the record-breaking relief amount.
