Civic felicitation of Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev returns from Commonwealth Parliamentary Association conference, first person from Ajmer district to achieve this feat
Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev was given a grand welcome in Ajmer district on Friday after returning from the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association conference in Australia and study tour of Indonesia, Japan and Singapore.Mr. Devnani is the first person from the district to address the conference of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association. Upon his return, a large number of supporters and common people gathered. He was given a civic welcome and grand welcome at many places on the way.
Assembly Speaker Shri Vasudev Devnani was given a civic welcome at Vijayalakshmi Park on his return to Ajmer on Friday. Dozens of societies, institutions and thousands of supporters congratulated him. Addressing the program organized on this occasion, Shri Devnani said that it is a matter of pride for me to attend and address the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association conference as a representative of India, Rajasthan, Ajmer and especially Ajmer North. Today, under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, India is recognized throughout the world as a strong nation. Indians today enjoy a different respect and affection all over the world.During his trip to Australia, Indonesia, Singapore and Japan, he received great affection from Indians, foreigners and especially Rajasthanis. Indian culture is seen with great respect and honor in all these countries.Rasleela, Kathak and Kalbelia dances are very popular in Japan. Similarly, a glimpse of Indianness was visible in Singapore University also. Even in Indonesia and Australia, Indianness seemed completely respected.
He said that Indian democracy is the strongest democracy in the whole world. The humanity, equality and mutual love that exists in India can be seen in these countries too, He said that he loves the Indian people so much that during his seventeen day trip to these four countries, he ate food cooked at the residence of some Indian every day. This is our rich culture of Atithi Devo Bhava, which continues even in foreign countries. People used to prepare tiffin and bring it from home.Indian spirituality, yoga and Sanatan Dharma also have special importance in these countries. He said that I will continue to serve the country, society, people of Rajasthan and Ajmer North throughout my life.
