This Diwali bonus announcement comes at a significant time as Rajasthan prepares to host an exhibition marking the first anniversary of India’s new criminal laws. The exhibition, scheduled to run from October 13 to 18 in Jaipur, commemorates the implementation of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, and Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam, which replaced the colonial-era Indian Penal Code (IPC), Code of Criminal Procedure (CrPC), and Indian Evidence Act.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah is set to inaugurate the exhibition, underscoring the central government’s commitment to judicial reform and modernization. Rajasthan’s Director General of Police, Rajeev Sharma, urged the public to attend the exhibition to learn about these landmark legal changes, which focus on shifting the justice system’s emphasis from punishment to justice.
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, who recently inspected the exhibition preparations in Jaipur, reiterated the importance of these reforms and the government’s ongoing dedication to public welfare through timely employee benefits and legal awareness initiatives.
This Diwali bonus announcement not only celebrates the festive spirit but also reinforces Rajasthan’s progressive approach towards employee welfare and justice reforms, setting an example for states across India.
