Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal and the agriculture department are taking all necessary measures to ensure uninterrupted fertilizer supply to farmers, with special emphasis on the availability of urea and DAP (Di-ammonium Phosphate).
Rajasthan CM Bhajan Lal Sharma ,Daily monitoring of fertilizer stocks is being carried out, and districts or blocks with lower availability and higher consumption are being identified for priority distribution of urea and DAP in a fully transparent manner. To prevent hoarding and black marketing, agriculture officials across the state are maintaining strict vigilance.

Against the central allocation of 8.82 lakh metric tonnes (MT) of urea, the state has already received 8.23 lakh MT, while the remaining 59,000 MT will be supplied by the end of August.

For DAP, the Centre allocated 4.75 lakh MT, out of which 3.59 lakh MT has been delivered so far, with another 27,000 MT expected shortly.
Currently, the state holds stocks of 1.86 lakh MT urea, 1.20 lakh MT DAP, 0.81 lakh MT NPK, and 1.93 lakh MT SSP. Compared to last year, the availability of phosphatic fertilizers has increased by 1 lakh MT, and additional supplies are in transit—about 8,000 MT of urea and 10,900 MT of DAP are being transported by rail.
The Centre allocates fertilizers to states on a monthly and company-wise basis, after which the state government prepares district-level distribution plans as per demand. The government is committed to safeguarding farmers’ interests by ensuring adequate availability of fertilizers at fair prices without any disruption to agricultural activities.
Farmers are being encouraged to use fertilizers according to the recommendations in their Soil Health Cards. Strict directions have been issued to district collectors to maintain transparency in distribution and to take tough action against hoarders, black marketeers, and vendors involved in malpractice.
To ensure equitable access, fertilizers are being distributed in an organized manner under official supervision. In mustard-growing districts, farmers have already begun advance procurement and stocking of DAP for early sowing.
