On the innovative initiative of RAJASTHAN Deputy CM Diya, “Cultural Diaries Series” was started by the Tourism Department to encourage folk art and artists.

RAJASTHAN Deputy CM Diya : To encourage folk art and artists on behalf of Rajasthan Tourism Department on the innovative initiative and instructions of Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari.And to provide them livelihood opportunities, under the “Cultural Diaries Series”, a cultural program was organized on Friday, the first day of a two-day (15th and 16th November) cultural evening at Albert Hall, Ramniwas Bagh.
With the view of presenting the folk art and culture of Rajasthan on the global stage and providing a new platform to the folk artists, the said cultural evening started with the chanting of Vedic mantras, After which the famous Kutchi Ghodi dance of Shekhawati region was presented. After that a beautiful presentation of Rajasthan Peacock Dance was given. After this, Radha Krishna played Holi of flowers due to which the art and culture of Braj region situated in the north-east of the state came true in a grand form.
The audience also started dancing after seeing the dance performance of Shri Krishna and Radha’s love-filled and Lathmar Holi, drenched in colors and flowers. The folk artists of Braj embodied the pure love of Lord Shri Krishna and Radharani in the said presentation. इDuring the session, an attractive presentation of rural Bhavai dance was given. In which a wonderful balance of different dance postures was displayed.The fascinating presentations given in the cultural evening including folk music full of devotion and pleasing to the ears of the Braj region enthralled the people of Jaipur and the people of India and abroad.
Following the instructions of Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari and Tourism Secretary Shri Ravi Jain, the Tourism Department is promoting folk art and artists.And initiative has been taken to organize cultural programs to provide them regular livelihood opportunities. For this, the Cultural Diaries series has been started by the Tourism Department.Due to which the whole world will become familiar with the art and culture of Rajasthan. On the second day of the cultural evening organized in this series, on Saturday, 16th November, there will be musical performances by the famous Langa-Manganiyar artists of Barmer-Jaisalmer region at Albert Hall itself.
On this occasion, Director of Archeology and Museum Mr. Pankaj Dharendra and Joint Director of Tourism Department Mrs. Punita Singh and departmental officers were present.
