Rajasthan Governor Haribhau Bagde has said that India is a nation with vibrant culture. This country has been the origin of the intellectual, spiritual and cultural heritage of the world. He said it was India that taught the world the lesson of universal equality through ‘Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam’. He said that the occasion of completion of hundred years of independence is related to ‘reclaiming that pride of India’. He called for collective efforts to make India a Vishwa Guru again by reflecting on the rich knowledge tradition and culture associated with the unique history of the country.
Shri Bagade was speaking at the annual function of ‘Jaipur Dialogue 2024 “at a private hotel on Friday. “India is the world’s biggest economic and cultural power. This time is associated with returning to our cultural and civilizational roots. Referring to ancient India being at the centre of global trade, he said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has given the vision of ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat “in this context. This is linked to the Prime Minister’s Panch Prana – developed India, eradication of mental colonialism, pride in our heritage, unity of citizens and duty. This is the natural extension of the basic principles of our civilization.
The Governor also emphasized to work to increase the intellectual capacity of the students in the educational institutions, to connect the students with the love of nation with morality and to imbibe the ideas of patriotism in them by adopting the ideal life of the great men. He said that everyone should work together to build a developed India of the future.
