RAJASTHAN Governor : Constitution is not only the supreme law of the country but also a reflection of Indian culture
RAJASTHAN Governor: Shri Haribhau Bagde has said that the Constitution is not just a holy book related to governing the country but it is a reflection of Indian culture. He said that the Indian Constitution is the best explanation of democracies around the world.
While congratulating and wishing the Constitution Day (26th November), Governor Shri Bagde has said that the preamble of the Constitution “We the people of India” is the philosophy of sovereignty and democratic Indian values in the country. The Constitution believes in the ‘democratic system of governance’. He said that the basic spirit of the Constitution is humanity. Our Constitution, related to fraternity among citizens, self-respect and unity of the nation, is a manifesto for the economic and social transformation of the country.
The Governor said that Constitution Drafting Committee Chairman Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar had used the term “constitutional morality” in his maiden speech in the Constituent Assembly.This is the identity of our republic. On Constitution Day, he has called upon everyone to remain committed to their duties while remaining conscious of the culture associated with the Constitution and the rights associated with it.
