Housing Commissioner: Taking the cooperation of the local administration to expand the housing schemes of the Housing Board across the state and to prepare the land bank of the Board.Make every effort to identify and acquire land in the districts, says Housing Commissioner Dr. Rashmi Sharma. He said that engineers should go to the field and identify land pockets located in the residential schemes of the board.Dr. Rashmi Sharma said this while addressing the review meeting held at the Housing Board headquarters on Friday. He also said that the Board is working with commitment to provide housing to the common people in all the areas of the state. He said that from construction to allotment, work should be done with sensitivity and seriousness in every project.
Housing Commissioner Dr. Sharma, while reviewing the progressing works of the Board, gave instructions to complete all the works on time and suggested to complete the works by cooperating with each other in team spirit.Along with this, Dr. Sharma directed that in the first attempt, after identifying the properties which have not been disposed of for a long time, they should give wide publicity and try to sell them through the Wednesday auction scheme.And after this, instructions were also given to prepare an action plan to sell the remaining undistributed properties through open sale scheme.
He provided detailed guidelines regarding new housing schemes. He said that engineers should ensure coast benefit study before acquiring the land.Dr. Sharma said that the Board should immediately dispose of the pending cases by making SOP for land transfer. Housing Commissioner Dr. Rashmi Sharma discussed the pending cases in the court in the meeting.Points related to disputed houses and pending registration were also discussed in depth and instructions were given to prepare an action plan for their timely disposal.
