Minister of State for Home Jawahar Singh Bedham said that awareness and active participation of every person is an important component for road safety.
Minister of State for Home Jawahar Singh Bedham, Department of Transport and Road Safety, Rajasthan Road Safety Society, Awas Financiers Limited, at Government Higher Secondary School, Gram Panchayat Nyana of Govindgarh Tehsil of Alwar district on Sunday.Participating as the chief guest in the road safety pioneer training and helmet distribution program under the Awas Youth Road Safety Education and Awareness Campaign organized under the joint aegis of Mewat Utthan Samiti and District Police Alwar, he said that the state government is serious towards road safety.Road safety is a subject directly related to the government as well as every citizen. Therefore, every person should be aware of road safety rules and should also follow them. He called upon the youth that youth is the treasure of the nation and should play an important role in creating awareness about road safety.
JAfter training, Awahar Singh Bedham administered the oath to 300 volunteer youth as road safety pioneers to develop a clean, healthy and safe road culture in the country and build a nation free from road accidents by the year 2047.He said that he appreciated the road safety campaign carried out by Rajasthan Road Safety Society and Awas Financiers Limited along with the police and administration.
Road safety expert and ARTO Dr. Virendra Singh Rathod provided detailed information regarding road safety. He also distributed Road Safety Chakra and Road Safety Pocket Book written by himself. He also informed about getting a cash prize of up to Rs 10 and a citation for helping the injured under the Chief Minister Ayushman Jeevan Rakshak Yojana and National Good Samaritan Scheme.
