RAJASTHAN NEWS : On the third day of the seven-day programmes held to commemorate the Rajasthan Foundation Day (March 30, Chaitra Shukla Pratipada), a district level Antyodaya Kalyan Samaroh was held at Pratap Auditorium, Alwar. Meanwhile, Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma transferred an amount of Rs. 100 crore through DBT to 92,000 construction workers across the state and distributed pattas under SVAMITVA scheme to 20,000 families.
State level programmes and new schemes
The state level programme held at Bharatpur was telecast live through VC wherein the Chief Minister made several important announcements under “Antyodaya Kalyan – Khushal Rajasthan” such as:
Rs. 300 crore sanctioned for Dang, Magra and Mewat Regional Plans.
Distribution of Power Driven Wheelchairs and Assistive Devices to Persons with Disabilities.
Distribution of electrically operated chalk for clay artists.
New e-work portal 2.0 and mobile app for rural development launched.
150 units of free electricity under PM Suryaghar free electricity scheme.
Inauguration of Deendayal Upadhyaya Garibi Mukt Gram Yojana and Guru Golwalkar Ashurat Block Development Scheme.
The Commitment of the State Government
Forest Minister Sanjay Sharma said that the Central and State Governments are working together towards Antyodaya Kalyan. The distribution of leases under the SVAMITVA scheme has given people the right to property, which they can also get loans if needed.
Chief Minister interacts with beneficiary Phool Chand
Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma interacted with beneficiary Phool Chand Prajapat, a resident of village Machri in Alwar district. Phool Chand said that he has been making pottery for the last 10 years, but with the availability of electric chalk and clay knitting machines by the Sri Yadi Mati Kala Board, his income has doubled. Earlier they used to earn ₹10,000 monthly, but now their income has doubled due to ease of production and improvement in quality. He thanked the Chief Minister and the Mati Kala Board, to which the Chief Minister said that the goal of the government is to reach the benefits of public welfare schemes to every needy.
Beneficiaries benefit from the scheme
Under Antyodaya Kalyan Karyakram, an amount of Rs. 6.97 crore has been transferred to the accounts of 6,833 beneficiaries of Alwar district through DBT. In addition:
Under the SVAMITVA scheme, pattas were distributed to 1,100 beneficiaries.
52 Divyangjans were provided 35 Tricycles and 17 Wheelchairs.
The beneficiaries of various welfare schemes expressed their gratitude to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma.
