Rajasthan News : In view of the forecast of heavy rainfall in the coming days, Jaipur District Collector Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni has directed all officials to remain on alert and carry out relief and rescue operations in mission mode, ensuring all necessary arrangements are in place.
Rajasthan News : Due to continuous rains in recent days, several rural areas of Jaipur have witnessed waterlogging. Considering the situation of inundated villages and roads, a precautionary holiday has been declared on Monday and Tuesday for all government and private schools in the district. Dr. Soni has also appealed to the public to remain extra cautious in such conditions. A 24×7 control room has been set up, which can be contacted at 0141-2204475 and 0141-2204476. People have been urged to stay away from water bodies, ensure that children do not go near flooded areas, and strictly avoid crossing overflowing bridges or culverts.
The District Collector has instructed officials to take immediate action in case of heavy rainfall anywhere in the district. All officers are required to stay in the field, keep a close watch on the situation, and remain in constant touch with senior authorities.
On Sunday, under the leadership of Dr. Jitendra Kumar Soni, 46 teams of the Jaipur district administration visited rain-affected areas across the district, assessed the situation, interacted with residents, and ensured that relief and rescue measures were carried out on the spot.
