RAJASTHAN NEWS: Review meeting of Ajmer division officials

RAJASTHAN NEWS: Officials should work with sensitivity and reach the benefits of the welfare schemes of the central and state government to every eligible person. These instructions were given by Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant during a divisional level review meeting in Ajmer. He reviewed the progress of law and order, good governance, state budget announcements, revenue and various departmental schemes.

Divisional Commissioner Mahesh Chandra Sharma and Inspector General of Police O. P. Prakash briefed the meeting about the progress of the division. The Chief Secretary directed that the development schemes and public welfare programmes should be completed within the stipulated time frame so that the maximum benefit is received by the common people. He reviewed the preparations for the upcoming Teacher Eligibility Test and discussed security management for fair and smooth conduct of the examination.

Chief Secretary Mr. Pant reviewed the pending land conversion and conversion cases and directed for their early disposal. Emphasizing on e-governance and administrative reforms, he asked to monitor the time and pendency of file disposal. Instructions were given to dispose of all correspondence through e-filing system.
He asked to review the cases of declaring government land as private accountancy and appeal to the competent court if needed. He directed the Excise, Police and other departments to work together to save the younger generation from drugs. He also asked to take action in coordination with the administration, police, forest, mining and transport departments for effective control of illegal mining.

Emphasis was laid on raising awareness and administrative sensitization for prevention of crimes against women. Plans were asked to be made based on the analysis of sectoral data to prevent highway accidents. Instructions were given to implement FSL investigation and e-summoning 100% under the new criminal laws.
The progress of training, maintenance of law and order and development works under IGGOT Mission Karmayogi was reviewed. Instructions were given to monitor Jal Jeevan Mission, Pradhan Mantri Suryaghar Mukt Bijli Yojana, agriculture and revenue related issues, power supply and procurement at support price.

The Chief Secretary reviewed the announcements of Budget 2025-26 and directed for early implementation. Discussed the progress of health and public welfare schemes, Ayushman Bharat, TB Mukt Bharat Mission and other health programmes. Revenue collection, recovery of old dues and grievance redressal system were reviewed with emphasis on disposal of cases which are more than 90 days old.
District Development Commissioner, Additional District Development Commissioner, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Chief Planning Officer and other senior officers of the district were present in the meeting.
