Rajasthan Parliamentary Affairs Minister: The ‘Unity Run “organized by Jodhpur District Administration under Fit India Freedom Run 5.0 campaign on the theme of’ Swachhta and Swasthya” was flagged off by Shri Jogaram Patel, Minister for Parliamentary Affairs, Law & Justice from Umaid Stadium. The run was organised from Umaid Stadium to New Road intersection, Mohanpura Pulia, Police Line, Ratanada Road, KN College intersection, Raikabagh Pulia, Mahavir Udyan to Umaid Stadium.
Shri Patel said that Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel played an important role in the unification of the nation. His birth anniversary is celebrated as National Unity Day. “It is our duty to maintain the unity and integrity of the country.
The Parliamentary Affairs Minister said that we all will build a clean and healthy society by taking a pledge of Clean and Fit India. This Run for Unity will help in making people aware about the unity of the nation, healthy lifestyle and cleanliness.
Shri Patel said that several schemes and programmes are being run by the State Government for the healthy and better living standards of the people of the State. The state government is working with full commitment for the upliftment of the last person.
On the occasion, MC Commissioner Karunesh Sharma, Additional Deputy Commissioner Vishesh Sarangal, SDMs Rahul Sindhu, Dr Jai Inder Singh, PUDA EO Navneet Kaur Bal, Joint Commissioner Shayari Malhotra, Assistant Commissioner Hardeep Singh, Civil Surgeon Dr Gurinder Chawla, Medical Superintendent Dr Mandeep Kaur, Assistant Civil Surgeon Dr Gurmeet Kaur Duggal, SMO Dr Kashmiri Lal, Dr Satish Kumar, Dr Paramjit Singh and others were present.
