Vasudev Devnani: Passport Seva Kendra will be built in Ajmer, visa will be made simple, the increasing problem of illegal Bangladeshis in Ajmer will also be solved.
Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani met Foreign Minister Shri S. in New Delhi on Thursday. Met Jaishankar. During this courtesy meeting with Shri Jaishankar, Shri Devnani discussed about upgrading the Post Office Passport Center of Ajmer to Passport Seva Kendra.Requested to get rid of the ill-treatment towards Hindus in Bangladesh, the problems being created by the increasing number of Bangladeshis in Ajmer and simplification of visa. The Foreign Minister assured Shri Devnani that immediate action would be taken on all these.
More number of people going abroad from Ajmer-
Vasudev Devnani told Shri Jaishankar that Ajmer is rich historically and spiritually. Pushkar shrine, Dargah of Sufi saint Moinuddin Chishti, ASI monuments, high grade marble quarries at Kishangarh And because of the NRI community of Ajmer region, Ajmer has made a proud place on the world tourism map. He said that at the present Post Office Passport Seva Kendra located in Ajmer, there are an average of 80 bookings per day, to which a minimum waiting time of 20 days is given.Which increases to about 60 days due to excess work. The number of people going abroad from Ajmer is high. The Post Office Passport Center is proving inadequate to meet the increasing performance of Ajmer at the international level. Due to which there is a need to organize camps repeatedly in Ajmer by the Regional Passport Office, Jaipur.
Passport Seva Center will be built in Ajmer-
Vasudev Devnani said that the present post office system should be upgraded to a full-fledged passport office so that the needs of the local people and international traffic can be met in a time bound manner. He said that this will lead to gradual progress in the business sector here also. This will not only reduce the workload on the Jaipur office but will also save a large number of people from unnecessary road travel.Under these circumstances, requesting immediate steps to be taken to upgrade the office and infrastructure at Ajmer, Shri Devnani told the External Affairs Minister that this will enable people to easily get passport and other related mandatory services of the Government of India at their nearest place. .
The increasing problem in Ajmer due to illegal Bangladeshi immigrants will also be solved.
Shri Devnani expressed deep concern to the Foreign Minister over the ill-treatment towards Hindus in Bangladesh. Shri Devnani also urged the Foreign Minister to find a way to solve the increasing problems due to illegal Bangladeshis in Ajmer.
Visa will be made simple-
Shri Devnani told the Foreign Minister that visas should be simplified. President Vasudev Devnani said that during his recent visit to Japan, Indians had mentioned the technical problems being faced in visas in Japan. Shri Devnani also requested the Foreign Minister for its solution.
