No ‘Bhool’ Here: Bhool Chuk Maaf Box Office Collection Nears Rs 60 Crore Ahead of OTT Release
Debutant director Karan Sharma’s romantic comedy Bhool Chuk Maaf, starring Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi, continues to impress with a strong theatrical run. The Bhool Chuk Maaf box office collection now stands at an impressive Rs 58.85 crore, as the film inches closer to the Rs 60 crore mark. Backed by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films, the film’s performance has been fueled by positive word-of-mouth and consistent weekend growth.

Strong Weekend Growth Pushes Bhool Chuk Maaf Box Office Collection Higher
During its second weekend, the film saw a healthy jump in numbers, earning Rs 6.25 crore on its second Sunday, the highest single-day figure since its opening weekend, which included a peak first Sunday collection of Rs 11.5 crore. The upward trend began with Rs 3.25 crore on Friday, followed by Rs 5.25 crore on Saturday.
The rising Bhool Chuk Maaf box office collection has already eclipsed several notable Bollywood releases of 2025. These include John Abraham’s The Diplomat (Rs 40.73 crore), the Hindi dubbed version of Game Changer starring Ram Charan (Rs 37.47 crore), the re-release of Sanam Teri Kasam (Rs 35.55 crore), and Shahid Kapoor’s Deva (Rs 33.97 crore).
Occupancy levels on Sunday reflected growing interest, with the highest turnout in evening shows (31.65%), followed by afternoon (27.80%), night (18.95%), and morning (9.02%) slots. Among metro cities, Chennai topped the charts with 80.67% occupancy, while Chandigarh (26.75%), Jaipur, Hyderabad, and Bengaluru (26.25%) also contributed substantially.
Despite its continued success, it seems unlikely that Bhool Chuk Maaf will surpass the Rs 90.34 crore benchmark set by Sunny Deol’s action film Jaat, directed by Gopichand Malineni. With only four weekdays left before the film’s early OTT premiere, its box office momentum may slow.
The Bhool Chuk Maaf box office collection could plateau soon, as the film is set to begin streaming on Prime Video India from June 6 as part of a festive OTT rollout. The early digital release offers audiences another opportunity to enjoy this critically appreciated rom-com in the comfort of their homes.
