The Punjab government is set to speed up the implementation of the Rangla Punjab Vikas Scheme, with Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema holding a review meeting to assess progress and provide necessary directions for the upcoming phase of development works.
According to information shared by AAP Punjab on its official X page, the Finance Minister reviewed the progress of the scheme and issued instructions to Deputy Commissioners regarding the third phase, which is scheduled to begin from August 15.

During the review meeting, Harpal Cheema directed officials to ensure smooth execution of projects under the Rangla Punjab Vikas Scheme. Deputy Commissioners were instructed to monitor development activities at the ground level and ensure timely completion of approved projects.
Officials have also been asked to upload photographs of completed projects from the field to maintain transparency and track the progress of development initiatives.
