The revelation was made by his co-star Vishal Vashishtha, who shared how the actor continued working despite severe emotional distress and a painful injury.
Salman Khan continued shooting despite emotional trauma
During the filming of Sikandar, Salman was deeply affected by the shocking murder of Baba Siddique in October 2024. According to co-star Vishal Vashishtha, the actor was visibly struggling but still chose to report to the set every day.
Vishal described that Salman was “mentally and emotionally drained” during that time but remained committed to completing his work despite personal turmoil.
He added that Salman’s condition was not easy to ignore, as the actor was also dealing with a rib injury that made even simple movements painful.

Speaking about the experience, Vishal Vashishtha said Salman would often struggle with basic movements while filming. Despite this, he continued performing scenes and later underwent physiotherapy between takes.
The co-star revealed that even simple actions like sitting down or getting up were difficult for the actor during certain portions of the shoot. However, he still ensured that work did not stop and managed to complete his scenes with determination.

Action sequences delayed due to Salman Khan’s injury
The team of Sikandar reportedly adjusted the shooting schedule to accommodate Salman Khan’s recovery. Action-heavy sequences were pushed to later stages so that the actor could regain physical strength.
Vishal Vashishtha noted that Salman’s condition gradually improved over time, but early scenes were particularly challenging due to his injury and emotional stress.
Security concerns increased after Baba Siddique murder
The death of Baba Siddique in October 2024 sent shockwaves across the industry and significantly increased security around Salman.
Reports suggested that the actor was already on the radar of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, which allegedly linked him to past controversies. Following Siddique’s murder, Salman Khan reportedly received fresh threats and was placed under Y+ security protection.
