On the initiative of the Rajasthan Assembly Speaker Shri Vasudev Devnani, the school children of Alwar under the leadership of the Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Forest and Environment Shri Sanjay Sharma observed the proceedings of the Rajasthan Assembly on Wednesday and understood the functioning of the Assembly and parliamentary traditions.
Shri Devnani inspired the students to imbibe democratic values, dignity of the Constitution and become responsible citizens. The students took group photographs with Speaker Shri Devnani and Minister of State for Forests Shri Sanjay Sharma at the historic brass gate. The school management thanked the Speaker for the opportunity.
Minister of State for Forests Shri Sanjay Sharma said that children are the future of our country and in the coming times, it is the responsibility of the children to maintain the democratic system. He said that in order to make the students feel the proceedings of the assembly closely, the team of students of Chinar School has been given a tour of the temple of democracy, where the children saw the debate taking place between the pros and cons, the question hour and the seating arrangement. During this time, the children shared their experiences and said that it was very nice to see the proceedings of the assembly. Coming here has been an opportunity to learn in depth about the debates on public interest issues in the Assembly, the role of legislators and the importance of democracy.
