Palak Muchhal Confirms Wedding Delay

On Monday, singer Palak Muchhal, sister of Palash, confirmed the postponement through an Instagram Story. She wrote:
“Due to Smriti’s father’s health, Smriti and Palash’s wedding has been put on hold. We request everyone to respect the families’ privacy.”

According to reports, Smriti’s father Shrinivas Mandhana developed heart attack-like symptoms on the wedding day and was rushed to Sarvhit Hospital and Medical Research Centre in Sangli. His condition required immediate medical attention, leading to all wedding ceremonies being paused.

Palash Muchhal Hospitalised Due to Emotional Stress

A day after the incident, Palash Muchhal was also admitted to a hospital in Sangli. Speaking to Hindustan Times, his mother shared that Palash shares a deep emotional connection with Smriti’s father and was devastated by his sudden illness.

She said: “He cried so much that his health deteriorated. Doctors kept him under observation for four hours, performed an ECG and other tests. Everything was normal, but he is under a lot of stress.” Palash has since returned to Mumbai and is recovering at home.

Smriti Mandhana Removes Wedding Posts

In the midst of the unfolding medical emergency, Smriti Mandhana deleted all wedding-related posts from Instagram, indicating a shift to privacy and family focus.
