Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha is all set to make her Tollywood debut with the upcoming supernatural thriller “Jatadhara”, where she will play the powerful and commanding character Dhanapisachini. Known for her roles in Hindi cinema, Sonakshi is excited to explore a completely new dimension in her acting career.

In an exclusive statement to IANS, Sonakshi revealed, “I’ve been waiting for a long time to do a character like this. It’s completely different from anything I’ve done before, and that’s what made it so exciting for me. I want to thank the makers for envisioning me in such a role and bringing it to life.”

The actress shared that the role allowed her to step out of her comfort zone and showcase a side of herself that audiences haven’t seen before. She added, “Ever since my debut, people have said I have an Indian face — some even called me Bihar ki beti. But my father always said, you’re Hindustan ki beti. He believed that I could blend into any character from any state. I’m really looking forward to seeing how audiences respond to this new side of me.”

Directed by Venkat Kalyan, “Jatadhara” weaves the supernatural with real human emotions, creating a story that lingers in viewers’ minds long after the film ends. Sonakshi describes her character as intense and commanding, while co-star Sudheer Babu called his role “one of the most challenging I’ve ever taken on.”
