Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav stated that the South Korean Joint Venture Group is eager to invest in medical equipment, AI-driven healthcare solutions, nanotechnology, biopolymers, and renewable energy, acknowledging the state’s investor-friendly ecosystem. A delegation from South Korea’s ECDS Group met him at Mantralaya to explore potential partnerships.
During discussions, the delegation informed Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. about their plans to set up a research and manufacturing unit in Ujjain’s Medical Device Park. This facility will focus on developing urine-based cancer detection kits, facilitating early diagnosis and timely treatment. Additionally, the group expressed interest in investing in the aviation and semiconductor industries in the state. They also offered to collaborate on technology transfer and skill development initiatives.
The delegation included Dr. Wong Kwang Yang, Dr. Younghoon Lim, Dr. Seok Kim, Shri Jong Choile Jung, Shri Jelly Sheone, Shri Woo Seok Shung, and Shri Rajesh Bhardwaj. Also present at the meeting were Chief Secretary Shri Anurag Jain and Principal Secretary of Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Shri Raghvendra Kumar Singh.
