The Haryana government will conduct a large-scale State Level Flood Mock Drill on May 14 across 13 flood-prone districts of the state. The objective of this State Level Flood Mock Drill is to enhance disaster management preparedness and improve coordination among various departments in case of flooding situations.
The State Level Flood Mock Drill will be simultaneously conducted in Gurugram, Ambala, Faridabad, Fatehabad, Kaithal, Karnal, Kurukshetra, Panchkula, Panipat, Palwal, Sirsa, Sonipat, and Yamunanagar districts.
Major preparedness exercise across 13 districts
This State Level Flood Mock Drill will involve district administrations, disaster response teams, police, health departments, and other emergency services working in coordination.
