The students of Raipur district, who secured the highest marks in the 10th and 12th board examinations conducted by the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education, met Governor Ramen Deka at Raj Bhawan here today. Shri Deka congratulated and wished all the students and felicitated them with medals and mementos and handed over incentive amount of Rs.
Speaking on the occasion, Shri Deka encouraged the students and said that the children have a better future ahead. They should move forward with diligence and hard work in the field in which they want to make a career. Discipline plays an important role in achieving success in life. Students should follow the rules. Along with studies, do yoga, meditation and sports activities. Respect your parents and teachers. Enjoy life while being aware of your surroundings along with human qualities and the spirit of mutual cooperation.
MLA Purandar Mishra was also present on the occasion. He said that through education, children should make their future bright and bring glory to the state.
In the program, Shri Deka felicitated Kumari Sai Sanjana, Naman Kumar Thakur, Ketan Sahu, Kumari Khushboo Sen, Kumari Purvi Sahu, Mehak, Ram Soni, Kumari Neha Chakradhari, Kumari Kavya Verma, Kumari Divya Tiwari, Chitransh Devangan, who got place in the proficiency list. Similarly, Ms. Pallavi Verma, Ms. Ruchika Sahu, Ms. Kirti Yadav, Ms. Ruchi Kalyani and Ms. Bhumika Devangan, who secured ranks in the Class 12 merit list, were felicitated.
Secretary to Governor, Ms. Nidhi Sahu, District Education Officer, Raipur, Dr. Vijay Khandelwal and other officers of the Education Department and parents were also present on the occasion.
