• Tiranga Yatra held at Madlauda,Panipat
  • Participants show great enthusiasm and spirit during the yatra

 Minister of State for Urban Local Bodies, Sh. Subhash Sudha, led a grand event today at Madlauda, Panipat to celebrate the ‘Tiranga Yatra’. The participants of the ‘Tiranga Yatra’ displayed immense enthusiasm and a festive spirit.

Addressing the participants as the Chief Guest, Sh. Subhash Sudha emphasised the importance of remembering the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the nation. He stated that the entire country is participating in the ‘Tiranga Yatra’ to honour the Tricolor and to promote unity and brotherhood.

Addressing the ‘Tiranga Yatra’ Rajya Sabha, MP, Krishan Lal said that the sacrifices of the countless martyrs who played a crucial role in securing our freedom will never be forgotten. The freedom we enjoy today is the result of the sacrifices and dedication of  lakhs of martyrs. He stressed that it is our collective responsibility to fulfil the vision of a free India that the martyrs dreamed of.

The Rajya Sabha MP also highlighted that it was the former Prime Minister, Sh. Atal Bihari Vajpayee who first honoured the martyrs. The state government, in respect of the martyrs, has provided Rs. 50 lakh in financial assistance and government jobs to their families. Prime Minister, Sh. Narendra Modi increased this amount to Rs.1 crore, reflecting the government’s deep respect for the martyrs.
