Fresh spy shots of the Volkswagen Taigun facelift have surfaced online, giving fans a closer look at the mid-cycle update for the popular mid-size SUV. The Taigun Facelift has been on sale in India since 2021, and Volkswagen is expected to launch the facelifted model in 2026.

The latest images show that only the front and rear sections of the SUV are covered in camouflage, hinting that most of the updates will be concentrated there. The headlights, reportedly inspired by Volkswagen’s all-electric ID 4, are partially camouflaged, while the front bumper might feature a simpler rectangular grille in place of the current honeycomb pattern. The fog lamp housings were completely hidden in the spy shots.
According to industry experts, the facelift will focus on subtle cosmetic changes rather than major sheet metal revisions. The update could also bring feature enhancements, including the possible addition of a Level 2 ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance System) suite, improving safety and convenience for drivers.
