The release of Telugu star Teja Sajja’s upcoming film ‘Mirai’ has been pushed back. The makers recently announced the new release date along with a fresh poster of the action thriller.
Mirai : Directed by Karthik Gattamneni, the film features Teja Sajja, Manoj Kumar Manchu, Shriya Saran, Jagapathi Babu, and others in key roles. Backed by TG Vishwa Prasad and Krithi Prasad under the People Media Factory banner, the announcement also confirmed that the official trailer will be launched on August 28, 2025.
Mirai’s new release date
On Tuesday, the production house shared the updated poster on X, captioning it: “From the ethos of Itihasas, born a battle for the future. #MiraiTrailer drops on 28th August. Get ready to witness India’s most ambitious Action-Adventure Saga. #MIRAI GRAND RELEASE WORLDWIDE ON 12th SEPTEMBER.”
The poster showcases an intense face-off between two characters — one wielding a spear and the other a sword. Initially planned for a September 5, 2025 release, coinciding with Teachers’ Day, the movie will now arrive in cinemas worldwide on September 12, 2025.

The story revolves around a warrior entrusted with the mission of protecting nine ancient scriptures, which hold the power to transform mortals into deities. Adding to the buzz, Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions has joined as a distribution partner, boosting the film’s chances of pan-India reach. The soundtrack is composed by Gowra Hari, while cinematography is handled by Karthik Gattamneni.
