Formed in late 2024, the AIP aims to raise as much as $100 billion to support AI infrastructure, mainly across the U.S. Other big names in the group include Nvidia and Elon Musk’s xAI, with the Kuwait Investment Authority also joining recently.
Ravi Lambah, who leads strategic initiatives at Temasek, said the move reflects the company’s focus on future trends. “AI has the potential to transform every industry and business,” he said.
While Temasek hasn’t shared exactly how much it’s putting into the partnership, the firm manages a huge portfolio valued at around $304 billion as of March 2024.
This collaboration shows how important investors see the infrastructure behind AI, which is critical for the technology’s growth and impact worldwide.
