The complete ensemble of the television series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar was there as the trailer was unveiled on Tuesday at a lavish event in New Delhi. The teaser presented a tale of power, treachery, liberation, and love.
The three-minute film took viewers back to the courtesan lifestyle of the 1940s, a time of power struggles, betrayal, love, and independence.
