The makers of the blockbuster 2023 film The Kerala Story are back with a gripping sequel, The Kerala Story 2: Goes Beyond. The trailer, released recently, offers a chilling glimpse into the harrowing experiences of three Hindu girls — Ulka Gupta, Aditi Bhatia, and Aishwarya Ojha — who are allegedly betrayed and coerced into religious conversion by their Muslim boyfriends.
Trailer Highlights
The Kerala Story 2 trailer begins with a stark warning that India could potentially transform into an Islamic state governed by Sharia law over the next 25 years. It then shifts to Rajasthan, where a family files a POCSO complaint claiming their 16-year-old daughter was forcibly subjected to religious conversion.
The narrative moves to Madhya Pradesh, showing a young Hindu woman allegedly manipulated into marriage under false pretenses and subsequently forced into changing her religion. The final thread focuses on Kerala, where a Muslim man proposes a live-in relationship to his Hindu girlfriend. When she refuses to convert, she is allegedly forced to consume beef and is kept captive by him and his family. The trailer also portrays the intense struggles of the other two girls as their families fight to bring them home.
