The organizing committee of the Legend 90 Cricket League visited CM Vishnu Deo Sai. at his residence today and invited him to the upcoming tournament. The Legend 90 Cricket League is scheduled to be held from February 6 to February 18, 2025, at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium, Naya Raipur.
During the meeting, Shri Tarunesh Singh Parihar, CEO of Legend 90, presented the Chief Minister with a special jersey bearing the number 21 of the Chhattisgarh Warriors team, as a tribute to his birthdate, February 21. This inspired the team to design a unique jersey with this number.
This will be the first time the Legend 90 Cricket League is being hosted in India. Previously, the prestigious international tournament was held in Sri Lanka and other countries. The event will feature some of the biggest cricketing legends from around the world, including Chris Gayle, David Warner, Harbhajan Singh, Shikhar Dhawan, Yuvraj Singh, Suresh Raina, Matthew Wade, Moeen Ali, Aaron Finch, Thisara Perera, Robin Uthappa, Dinesh Karthik, Shaun Marsh, Martin Guptill, Kedar Jadhav, Ben Dunk, Shakib Al Hasan, and Daniel Christian.

During the meeting, Shri Tarunesh Singh Parihar shared key details about the tournament and highlighted the importance of hosting such a historic event in Chhattisgarh. Prominent figures at the meeting included Shri Balvinder Singh, Shri Rahul Bhadoria (Director, Sports Mint), Shri Sadan Ghosh, Shri Gaurav Batra, and Shri Rajiv Soni.

He reiterated the government’s dedication to improving cricket facilities in the state and expressed confidence that the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Cricket Stadium would continue to host major matches in the future.
