In Metro… In Dino, Konkona stars alongside Pankaj Tripathi as Kajol and Monty, a middle-aged couple grappling with a turbulent phase in their marriage. Speaking to PTI, Konkona reflected on the changes that occur in long-term relationships.
“Anybody who has been in a long-term relationship, however good your relationship is, and you are genuinely in love, that magic changes. I wouldn’t say it necessarily fades, but something changes in the dynamic, especially in domesticity,” she said.
Konkona Sen went on to describe the everyday challenges that test the romance in a relationship. “Like, living together is a great killer of romance, you are constantly worrying about the menu or the AC, children, the EMIs and the school fees. So, that is a challenge in long-term relationships. So, I can relate to that a little,” Konkona added.
Metro… In Dino boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Ali Fazal, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Aditya Roy Kapur, and Sara Ali Khan. The film promises to delve deep into the mess and mirth of love and relationships in today’s fast-paced world.
