PM Kusum Yojana: Three new solar power plants of 10.09 MW capacity have been set up under Component-C of PM KUSUM Yojana in Kotputli and Bhiwadi circles of Jaipur DISCOM. All the three solar plants have been connected to the adjacent 33/11 KV substation. With the installation of these solar plants, 918 agricultural consumers connected to these sub-stations have now started getting electricity during the day for agricultural work.
Discoms Chairman and Managing Director of Jaipur Vidyut Vitaran Nigam Ms. Aarti Dogra informed that solar power plants of 4.15 MW capacity have been installed by solar power generators M / s Solar 91 Project One Pvt. Ltd. at Pahal village in Bhiwadi Circle, 2.85 MW capacity by M / s Stockwell Alwar One Pvt. Ltd. at Haspur Kalan and 3.09 MW capacity by M / s Gulab Solar Power Plant Pvt. Ltd. at Hasanpura village in Kotputli.
Ms. Dogra informed that the work of feeder level solarization under KUSUM-C is being accelerated in the state. With these three plants, a total of 16 solar plants of 39.46 MW capacity have been installed so far in Jaipur, Ajmer and Jodhpur DISCOM areas. Through which 4,426 agricultural consumers connected to the grid have started getting electricity during the day for farming.
Ms Dogra, MD has approved the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) for streamlined and expeditious disposal of applications at DISCOM level for setting up solar power plants under Component A & C of KUSUM Scheme. Under this, timelines have been fixed at the level of engineers for approval of 11 KV and 33 KV lines for evacuation of solar energy generated from the solar power plant, shifting of LT, 11 KV and 33 KV lines from the land proposed for the plant, inspection of CT-PT sets, ABT meters, validation of DCR modules, connection of transformers and 11 KV and 33 KV lines from the solar plant, etc. Ms Dogra, in a recent joint meeting with developers, farmers and engineers, had directed to prepare SOPs to remove bottlenecks at the ground level in setting up of solar plants.
It may be recalled that tenders have recently been invited for setting up solar power plants of 207 MW capacity in Jaipur DISCOM area under Component-C and 890 MW capacity in all three DISCOM areas under Component-A. Earlier in the month of September, Chief Minister Shri Bhajan Lal Sharma had laid the foundation stone of 608 solar plants of 1501 MW capacity simultaneously in the state under the PM KUSUM-C scheme. Work is being speeded up at the ground level by DISCOMs for early installation of these plants.
