Beatriz Taufenbach deletes Instagram after Yash’s Toxic teaser sparks backlash. Political complaints filed, film release set for March 19, 2026.
The teaser of Yash’s upcoming film, Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, has sparked a major social media storm, but not for the reasons fans anticipated. A brief yet provocative scene featuring the actor in an intimate moment with a woman inside a car parked near a cemetery has divided audiences and drawn political attention. The woman in the scene, Brazilian model and actor Beatriz Taufenbach, has become the center of controversy.
Following mounting criticism, Beatriz suddenly deactivated her Instagram account, leaving fans shocked and adding a new twist to the ongoing debate surrounding the teaser.
From Mystery Woman to “Cemetery Girl”
Initially, speculation ran rampant over the identity of the actress opposite Yash. Some reports mistakenly identified her as actor Natalie Burn. Director Geetu Mohandas quickly cleared the confusion, introducing Beatriz as the real actress and dubbing her “my cemetery girl.” This revelation brought intense public scrutiny and backlash on Beatriz.
Instagram Disappearance Raises Concerns
As public objections increased, Beatriz quietly removed her social media presence. Fans trying to access her account were met with the message: “Profile isn’t available.” Neither Beatriz nor the film’s team has provided a statement about her sudden disappearance, which has only amplified curiosity and concern online.

Political and Social Backlash Grows
The controversy reached formal channels when members of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) women’s wing filed a complaint with the Karnataka State Commission for Women (KSWC). The complaint criticized the teaser for “obscene and explicit content” that allegedly harms social well-being and degrades women’s dignity.
AAP state secretary Usha Mohan said, “Scenes released publicly without age warnings insult Kannada culture and are inappropriate for women and children.” The KSWC subsequently wrote to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC), requesting proper action against the film.
Additional CBFC Complaint Filed
In addition, social activist Dinesh Kallahalli filed a separate objection with the CBFC, citing “obscene, sexually explicit, and morally offensive scenes.” So far, the makers of Toxic have not responded to these complaints.
