CM Nitish Kumar was received by 10 IAS probationers of Bihar Cadre of 2023 batch at ‘Sankalp’, 1 Anne Marg. Ms. Garima Lohia, Mr. Tushar Kumar, Mr. Aniruddha Pandey, Ms. Kritika Mishra, Ms. Akanksha Anand, Mr. Pradyuman Singh Yadav, Ms. Anjali Sharma, Mr. Rohit Kardam, Ms. Shipra Vijay Kumar Choudhary and Ms. Neha Kumari shared their experiences and work done in the districts during their training period. These trainee officers included 06 women and 04 men, out of which 05 were from Bihar, 04 from Uttar Pradesh and 01 from Rajasthan
CM Nitish Kumar expressed happiness on hearing the experiences of the trainee officers and said that there will be postings after their training, where they will play an important role in implementing government policies. He expressed happiness that out of these 10 trainee officers, 06 are women, which shows that women are moving forward in various fields. He pointed out that the Bihar government gave 50% reservation to women in panchayat and municipal elections, making them more representative in the society. Moreover, 35% reservation has also been provided to women in police and government services, making women participation in the state higher than other states.
