The decision by Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav to do away with the Transport Department’s check post system in border areas has been enthusiastically embraced by truck owners throughout Madhya Pradesh. Transporters and truck owners had been pushing for the elimination of these checkpoints for a long time. Truck owners gathered to show their appreciation, led by Rau MLA Shri Madhu Verma and Indore Region 3 MLA Shri Golu Shukla. They praised Chief Minister Dr. Yadav and thanked him on his attempt to swap out check posts for a more efficient system that was patterned after Gujarat.
The decision, which aims to increase revenue for the transport department, is in line with Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s objective for good administration in Madhya Pradesh, according to Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. The truck operators and transporters association officials conveyed their eagerly anticipated expectation for this ruling. They applauded Chief Minister Dr. Yadav’s historic decision, which made both car owners and drivers very happy. The state expects higher revenue as a result of the streamlined transportation system’s potential to improve efficiency. In the end, it is anticipated that lower transportation expenses will help the general population.
