UGC-NET 2024 Exam postponed: The government was referred to by the , as “paper leak government,” and they questioned whether the minister of education would now accept accountability.

UGC-NET 2024 exam news on the cancelled June 2024: The opposition was spearheaded by Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the president of the Congress, and others as the ministry of education canceled UGC-NET on Wednesday night, citing concerns that the “integrity of the examination may have been compromised.”

In addition, Mallikarjun Kharge criticized the government for allegedly failing the NEET medical entrance exam and questioned when Prime Minister Narendra Modi would hold the “NEET pareeksha pe charcha.”

The Congress referred to the Narendra Modi administration as the “paper leak government” and questioned if the minister of education would now accept accountability.

Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, the leader of the Congress, criticized the Center for the UGC-NET 2024 development and demanded that responsibility be addressed.

Mallikarjun Kharge posted in Hindi on X, stating, “Narendra Modi ji, you talk a lot about exams, but when will you hold ‘NEET pareeksha pe charcha’?” The UGC-NET exam cancellation is a testament to the perseverance of thousands of students, he declared.

The Congress president went on, “This is the defeat of the arrogance of the Modi government, because of which they made a despicable attempt to trample the future of our youth.”

Mallikarjun Kharge further stated that the Union Education Minister initially denies any leaks from the NEET, but later “accepts that some scam” has occurred when the education mafia was apprehended in Bihar, Gujarat, and Haryana. “When is the NEET exam going to be cancelled?” inquired the top Congressman.

“Modi ji, take responsibility to stop your government’s rigging and paper leak in NEET exam too,” Kharge continued.

In the meantime, the Congress claimed that the Modi administration was tampering with young people’s future.

“The UGC-NET exam was administered yesterday in a number of the nation’s cities. The exam for today was canceled due to possible paper leakage. The UGC-NET paper and the NEET paper were both leaked. The Congress wrote on X, “The Modi government has turned into a ‘paper leak government’.”

Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra responded fiercely to the cancellation of the exam and claimed that the youth are being harmed by the “corruption and laxity” of the BJP government.

“Fearing anomalies, the NET exam scheduled for June 18th has also been postponed following the discovery of the NEET exam scam. Will accountability be adjusted at this time? Will the Minister of Education accept accountability for this negligence?” In a Hindi post, Priyanka Gandhi posed a question.

Amidst a heated dispute over the NEET medical entrance exam, the Union Education Ministry cancelled the UGC-NET and turned the case over to the CBI for further investigation.

In addition, the ministry requested a report on suspected anomalies in the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (UG) 2024 administration in Patna from the Economic Offences Unit of the Bihar Police, stating that further measures will be implemented in response to the report.

Large-scale plot against the nation: Akhilesh Yadav
Chief of Samajwadi Party Akhilesh Yadav suspected “a big conspiracy against the country by someone.”

Additionally, the UGC-NET exam has been canceled in light of the anomalies that have been reported. The paper mafia is fixing exams one after another under BJP control. He wrote in Hindi on X, “This could also be someone’s grand conspiracy against the nation.”

Recognize the underlying meaning: – The state of law and order will not get better if the police recruitment exam paper is released. As a result, there will be instability and discontent throughout the nation and state. – If there is fraud in the NEET exam, honest people will be prevented from becoming doctors, and there will be an even greater scarcity of doctors to treat the nation’s population, posing a threat to public safety. – The already acute teacher shortage would worsen as a result of the UGC-NET exam’s absence. The lack of teachers will impede the nation’s mental growth, which will ultimately prove to be immensely detrimental to it. Added was Akhilesh Yadav.

This may be a massive conspiracy against our nation’s human resources and administrative system, with dire repercussions. Because of this, the case ought to be thoroughly probed under court supervision, the guilty should face the worst penalties, and no criminal—regardless of size or influence—should escape punishment, he continued.

“Emergency in education”: Shiv Sena (UBT)
Priyanka Chaturvedi, a Shiv Sena (UBT) MP, claimed that the NTA’s incapacity is exposed by its recurrent and complete inability to hold national tests fairly. In addition to disappointing the thousands of students who painstakingly prepare for these admission exams—not to mention the emotional strain they endure—this is an emergency in education. The answer is in government and NTA accountability, not in canceling. It is regrettable that there is such complete disregard for young kids’ careers,” she wrote on X.

The Shiv Sena’s (UBT) Aaditya Thackeray responded to the directive from the Center as well. “There is an emergency in education. The national government, meanwhile, is indifferent to the thousands of students. All they’re thinking about is PR.

“Ban NTA”: NSUI
The National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) has demanded that the NTA be opposed right away. The Indian National Congress’ (INC) student wing, NSUI, stated in a release that this development has once again brought to light grave concerns regarding the security and integrity of exams administered by NTA.

Varun Choudhary, the head of the NSUI, urged the education minister to act swiftly and decisively, prohibiting the NTA and filing lawsuits against its personnel, among other measures.
“We have consistently called attention to the shortcomings and weaknesses in the NTA’s inspection procedures. Another instance of their failure is the recent compromise of the UGC-NET test. Varun Choudhary declared, “It’s time for the Education Minister to take responsible action and defend the interests of students.”
