Ujjain Vikramotsav Trade Fair Offers 50% Discount on Motor Vehicle Tax for Non-Transport and Light Transport Vehicles

Ujjain Vikramotsav Trade Fair  : The state government has given a discount of 50 percent on the rate of lifetime motor vehicle tax payable on such non-transport and light transport vehicles, which are subject to lifetime motor vehicle tax and which are sold in Ujjain Vikramotsav Trade Fair and Gwalior Trade Fair during the period of 2024-25. This discount has been given with the prescribed conditions.

Exemption to such non-transport vehicles (motorcycle, motor car, omni bus for personal use) and light transport vehicles will be given only on getting permanent registration of the vehicles sold in the Regional Transport Office Ujjain/Gwalior. Automobile businessmen coming from outside Ujjain/Gwalior will be allowed to sell vehicles only after obtaining business certificate from the Regional Transport Office Ujjain/Gwalior and ensuring their physical presence in the fair grounds at these places.
