Union Minister of Textiles, Shri Giriraj Singh, attended the opening day of Bharat Tex 2025 at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi. The event, organized by a consortium of 12 Textile Export Promotion Councils with support from the Ministry of Textiles, is taking place from February 14-17, 2025. It showcases the entire textile value chain, including raw materials, fibers, finished products, technical textiles, home furnishings, and high-end fashion. Additionally, related exhibitions featuring accessories, garment machinery, dyes, chemicals, and handicrafts are being held from February 12-15 at the India Expo Centre and Mart, Greater Noida.
Bharat Tex 2025 is among the world’s largest textile expos, uniting policymakers, industry leaders, global brands, and key stakeholders from the entire textile value chain under one platform. With participation from over 120 countries and more than 5,000 exhibitors, the event has garnered significant global attention, highlighting India’s expanding role in the textile trade.
This year, the expo focuses on two key themes: resilient global value chains and textile sustainability. The event features a large-scale trade fair and exhibition, an international textiles conference, seminars, CEO roundtables, and B2B and G2G meetings. Additionally, it will host strategic investment discussions, product launches, and collaborations aimed at transforming the global textile industry. Dedicated buyer-seller meetings, policy roundtables, and networking sessions will further strengthen international business ties, reinforcing India’s reputation as a leading global sourcing hub.
Bringing together top textile manufacturers, global retail leaders, and industry associations, Bharat Tex 2025 is poised to drive high-value trade discussions and strategic partnerships. The event will feature over 70 conference sessions with renowned international speakers, industry experts, and policymakers, addressing crucial topics such as global trade dynamics, technical textiles, AI-driven manufacturing, and the future of sustainable fashion.
A key highlight will be the fusion of India’s rich textile heritage with modern trends. Fashion shows, trend forecasts, and product launches will offer a glimpse into the industry’s future, while traditional showcases and cultural performances will celebrate India’s enduring craftsmanship. The event will also reinforce India’s 5F vision—Farm to Fibre, Fabric, Fashion, and Foreign Markets—positioning the country as a sustainable and dependable sourcing hub for global textile businesses.
Bharat Tex 2025 is set to be a landmark event, celebrating the past, present, and future of the textile industry. With a strong focus on innovation, sustainability, and global collaboration, it aims to influence emerging textile trends and drive the industry toward a more integrated and sustainable future.
