CM Vishnu Dev Sai : We are Pahadi Korwa, Babu, connected to the forest, whatever is there, our everything is the forest, not only our ancestors, we have lived our lives with struggles, no one even wiped our tears… no one took care of us, today we are being given clean water… roads to the village… schools in the village… Ayushman cards and pucca houses for treatment of diseases… we are being made to stand on our feet. It’s our luck. Thank you to everyone who supported and supported us. This is the saying of Pahari Korwa Phulo Bai and Shani Ram Korwa of a special backward tribal family.
These Pahari Korwa families were feeling overwhelmed and proud after getting a house under the Pradhan Mantri Janman Awas Yojana and touching the feet of Union Agriculture and Panchayat Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai before entering the house. The Union Minister of Agriculture and Panchayats, Shri Shivraj Singh, Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh, Shri Vishnu Deo Sai and other dignitaries visited the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana at Ambikapur today. On this occasion, keys of houses were handed over to 51 thousand beneficiaries of the state.
Phulo Bai, a resident of Pandarapath village under Bagicha block of Jashpur district, says her life was full of struggles. After the death of her husband two years ago, her problems increased even more. She said that as long as her husband was alive, she was sure that he would build a pucca house one day, but his untimely death had dashed her hopes. The Prime Minister of the country, Shri Narendra Modi has taken care of the special backward tribal families living in the forests. With the initiative of the Prime Minister, the fate of us backward tribes has been opened. Along with all kinds of government facilities, pucca houses have also started getting.
Village Dhelwadhar – Pahadi Korwa Shani Ram of Bokai Panchayat District Surguja said that many generations have passed since we lived in the vicinity of forests. Our generations also drank water from the well. He lived in a thatched house and spent his life in the shadow of fear on the days of storm and rain. We never thought that we would face such a difficult time in our lives. Now our pucca houses have been built by PM Janman. Power connection, water connection. A card is being made for treatment. A road is being built to the village. Being honoured by touching our feet is a pleasant feeling, it is the beginning of changing the destiny of our coming generation, no matter how much we express gratitude for it…
