The nationwide initiative features four river-themed yatras, with two routes traversing Rajasthan. The ‘Ganga Pravah Yatra’, inaugurated earlier from Delhi by Union Health Minister and BJP National President J.P. Nadda, is making its way through Alwar, Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Chittorgarh, and Udaipur, eventually culminating at Karamsad in Gujarat.
Meanwhile, the ‘Yamuna Pravah Yatra’ will pass through Ajmer, Pali, Jodhpur, and Sirohi before entering Gujarat, collectively covering 10 districts in Rajasthan. Each district is represented by two delegates, alongside volunteers from the BJP Yuva Morcha, ensuring active engagement of the younger generation.
The yatra route features a blend of cultural and educational activities. In Alwar, participants were welcomed with Bharathari performances, while Sawai Madhopur hosted a Kanhaiya Dangal. Other districts along the route, including Kota, Chittorgarh, Udaipur, Ajmer, and Jodhpur, will host a series of student interactions, market outreach campaigns, and heritage site visits. Highlights include a student dialogue at Haridev Joshi Journalism University and an evening visit to the Brahma Temple in Pushkar.
The four river yatras across India will ultimately converge at Karamsad, Gujarat, where a grand concluding ceremony is planned. The BJP emphasizes that the initiative aims to deepen public understanding of Sardar Patel’s contributions to nation-building while promoting unity, cultural pride, and civic responsibility among citizens, particularly the youth.
CM Bhajanlal Sharma concluded by urging participants to carry forward Sardar Patel’s vision of a strong, united, and progressive India, reinforcing the values of patriotism, integrity, and social harmony.
