CM Yogi Adityanath today inaugurated the renovated audience gallery of the Assembly on the occasion of the Legislative Assembly session. He released 02 books. Now more members can ask their questions to ministersAnd members also get their answers immediately. This is real democracy when a member receives answers to questions regarding issues of public interest from the minister of the concerned department. This work could be done only when the Assembly amended the rules for running the Assembly and implemented them in due course of time.
CM Yogi said that it was during the tenure of Shri Satish Mahana that members of the ruling party or the opposition got the opportunity to raise issues of their interest, background and in different ways in the HouseThe work of reserving one day’s time in the House only for women members was also done. This year is going to complete 75 years of implementation of the Constitution of India.A copy of the original Constitution which was adopted and enacted on January 26, 1949 by the drafting committee headed by Baba Saheb Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar is being made available to all the members.Every page of the Constitution represents the sentiments of India and gives a vision of India. All members should study the copy of the original Constitution.The Assembly Speaker said that the Uttar Pradesh Assembly has set many records in the last 03 years. There is discussion about this in the entire country. We all believe that democracy can be strengthened through discussion.Assembly is the most important platform to raise the voice of the public.
