CM Yogi Adityanath: There is a possibility of 8-10 crore devotees taking bath in Sangam on the occasion of Mauni Amavasya on January 29, in view of this, arrangements should be made better
Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath today reviewed the situation of the last 3 days of Maha Kumbh with senior government level officials at his official residence. He directed that on the occasion of on January 29, 8-10 crore devotees are expected to take a dip in the Sangam. Keeping this in view, arrangements should be made better.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that on the two major bathing festivals of Paush Purnima and Makar Sankranti, more than 06 crore people received the holy benefit of bathing in the Triveni. He instructed that the timely movement of Maha Kumbh special trains should be ensured by communicating with the railways. Regular and special trains should be operated continuously. Their number should be increased considering the number of devotees.
CM Yogi Adityanath said that the mobile network should be improved further in the fair area. He emphasized on the continuous operation of buses, shuttle buses and electric buses.He said that toilets should be cleaned regularly. Ghats should be barricaded and 24×7 electricity and drinking water supply should be provided in all sectors. Chief Secretary Mr. Manoj Kumar Singh, Additional Chief Secretary to Chief Minister Mr. SP Goyal, Director General of Police Mr. Prashant Kumar, etc. were present in the meeting. Principal Secretary to Chief Minister, Home and Information Mr. Sanjay Prasad, Principal Secretary Urban Development Mr. Amrit Abhijat, Chairman of Power Corporation Mr. Ashish Kumar Goyal and Director Information Mr. Shishir along with other senior officers were present.
