UP CM Yogi Indian was addressing the program organized on this occasion after inaugurating the 25th International Conference of Chief Justices of the World organized on ‘Article 51’ of the Indian Constitution at City Montessori School (CMS) here today.He welcomed and greeted all the guests from all over the world in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh. Justices from more than 56 countries and experts in the field of law and justice are participating in this conference.
The Chief Minister said that this conference is being organized in Uttar Pradesh, India’s most populous state, at a time when India is entering the ‘Amrit Mahotsav Year’ after the adoption of its Constitution.India adopted its Constitution on November 26, 1949. The golden period of the adoption of the Indian Constitution will begin from November 26, 2024.On this occasion, this conference of Chief Justices and Judges of the world based on ‘Article 51’ of the Constitution of India will prove to be very inspiring and very important from the point of view of establishing world peace, security and harmony in accordance with ‘Article 51’.
The Chief Minister said that just a few days ago, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, while addressing the ‘Summit of the Future’ in the United Nations, called upon the heads of state of the world that ‘the success of humanity lies not in war, but in collective power. ‘India believes that war cannot solve any problem; the problem can be solved only through mutual dialogue in accordance with the spirit of Article 51 of the Indian Constitution.
There is no doubt that there is a need to protect the world’s 2.5 billion children and the future generations who are suffering the brunt of war and terrorism.It is our moral responsibility to leave behind a safe society for them. In such a situation, I urge the heads of states of all the countries around the world to come together on one platform and make an important and powerful contribution in providing a beautiful, clean and fear-free society to the future generations.
Chief Minister said that this statement of the Prime Minister is very relevant and is going to prove to be a milestone in terms of world peace. Today, representatives of the world are becoming a part of this conference by being insistent on these sentiments of the Prime Minister. He said that the Constitution of India favors complete coexistence with mutual cooperation, peace and harmony. It especially symbolizes India’s commitment towards world peace,Which inspires all of us to follow the moral path of developing international relations in a respectful manner and resolving conflicts peacefully. India’s activism in international organizations like the United Nations reflects India’s commitment towards promoting global peace and interests.Expressing confidence, he said that all of us will be a part of the campaign to pave the way for the welfare of the world in accordance with the sentiments of the Constitution makers of India towards world peace and security in accordance with the spirit of ‘Article 51’ of the Indian Constitution.
Paying humble tribute to Late Dr. Jagdish Gandhi, the Chief Minister said that this conference was started 25 years ago in Lucknow under the leadership and guidance of Dr. Jagdish Gandhi, the founder of City Montessori School (CMS). Dr. Jagdish Gandhi is not physically among us today. Dr. Bharti Gandhi, the founding director of CMS, and Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon, the convenor of this international conference and manager of the institute, have continuously worked to take this conference forward.Before this, the program started with the singing of ‘Vande Mataram’. The students of the school welcomed the Chief Minister with various band tunes. Various cultural programs were presented by the students.
On this occasion, former President of Hungary, Honorable Ms. Kathleen Novak, former Prime Minister of Lesotho, Honorable Dr. Pacalith B. Mosisili, former Prime Minister of the Republic of Haiti, Honorable Mr. John Henry Kent., Honorable Justice Shri Dalveer Bhandari of the International Court of Justice along with judges from other countries, legal experts, CMS’s founding director Dr. Bharti Gandhi, manager Prof. Geeta Gandhi Kingdon and teachers and students were present.
