UP CM Yogi Adityanath signs ₹6,650 crore MOUs with Universal Success Group in Singapore. Strategic investments in housing, logistics parks, and hyperscale data centers to create over 20,000 jobs in Uttar Pradesh.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has kicked off his Singapore visit on a strong note by signing three Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) worth ₹6,650 crore with Universal Success Group. The agreements will focus on strategic investments in housing, logistics parks, and hyperscale data centers, promising to generate employment for over 20,000 youth across the state.
Investments Across Key Sectors
On the first day of his Singapore tour, CM Yogi briefed the investors about Uttar Pradesh’s stable policy framework, improving connectivity, and rapidly expanding industrial infrastructure. The group was invited to establish a hyperscale data center in Lucknow, highlighting the state government’s commitment to supporting investors at every level.
1. International Theme-Based Group Housing Project
A 100-acre land near Jewar Airport under the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) will see the development of an international theme-based township. With an investment of ₹3,500 crore, this project is expected to create employment for around 12,000 people and is slated to commence in 2027.
2. Logistics Park on Kanpur-Lucknow Highway
A 50-acre logistics park is planned along the Kanpur-Lucknow highway, with a proposed investment of ₹650 crore. This initiative is set to generate approximately 7,500 jobs and is expected to start in 2027.
3. Hyperscale Data Center Park in Noida/Greater Noida
A hyperscale data center park with a 40 MW IT power capacity will be developed on 10 acres in the Noida/Greater Noida region. With an investment of ₹2,500 crore, this project aims to provide employment opportunities to around 1,500 people and is projected to begin in 2028.
Boost to Employment and Industrial Growth
The three MOUs represent a significant step in attracting strategic investment to Uttar Pradesh. Beyond infrastructure development, these projects will generate widespread employment opportunities, particularly for young professionals, and strengthen the state’s position as a hub for industrial, logistics, and IT growth.
CM Yogi Adityanath emphasized that the Uttar Pradesh government is committed to facilitating investors and creating a conducive environment for both domestic and international businesses. He further stated that such initiatives are vital for ensuring sustainable economic growth and providing job opportunities to the state’s burgeoning workforce.
