Housing and Urban Development Minister Hardip Singh Mundian stated that efforts are underway to identify locations for the development of urban estates in various cities and towns across Punjab.
Responding to a query from Nakodar MLA Inderjit Kaur Mann during the Question Hour of the Punjab Vidhan Sabha, he addressed the issue of establishing Urban Estates in Nakodar and Nurmahal.
The Minister further informed that all development authorities in the state have been directed to identify appropriate sites within their jurisdictions and submit proposals to the government. In line with these instructions, the respective authorities are currently engaged in site selection.
