CM Yogi Adityanath stressed that spiritual institutions such as temples and matths play a critical role in nurturing faith, fostering social cohesion, and strengthening India’s diverse cultural fabric. He reaffirmed that awakening spiritual consciousness among citizens is essential for building a strong, united nation where faith and development coexist seamlessly.
Highlighting the significance of the Ram Temple, the CM Yogi Adityanath referred to it as a symbol of India’s spiritual resurgence. He recalled the powerful public pledge, “Ram Lalla, Mandir Wahi Manayenge,” and praised the completion of the temple under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The temple’s four gates, dedicated to revered spiritual leaders Shankaracharya, Ramanujacharya, Ramanandacharya, and Madhvacharya, represent the unity and richness of India’s spiritual heritage.
Drawing inspiration from the epic Ramayana, CM Yogi Adityanath outlined transformative projects in Ayodhya, such as the Maharshi Valmiki International Airport, and the installation of statues honoring seven sages, Tulsidas, Jatayu, Nishadraj, and Shabari — symbols of unity bridging India’s north and south regions. The Ghazipur Medical College, named after the sage Vishwamitra, also reflects the state’s commitment to honoring cultural diversity.
The CM Yogi Adityanath further acknowledged the bravery of martyrs like Veer Abdul Hameed and Mahavir Chakra awardee Ram Ugraha Pandey, highlighting Ghazipur’s proud history of courage and sacrifice. His government’s initiatives include promoting Sanskrit education, renovating religious sites, and developing Ghazipur as a spiritual tourism destination, guided by the principle: “Paritranaya Sadhunam Vinashaya Cha Dushritam” — a commitment to protect the virtuous and eliminate evil.
Concluding his speech, CM Yogi Adityanath reiterated that awakening spiritual consciousness alongside material development is crucial for forging a resilient, united India. He called upon citizens to uphold faith and patriotism, emphasizing that these values will propel the nation toward a prosperous future.
