The Chief Minister said that the government has been following the mantra of simplification, solution and disposal since day one, its positive results are now visible.During the last three years, many works have been done in the field of self-employment. There is always difficulty in the beginning of any work. But now women and youth have started doing remarkable work in the field of self-employment. Due to various schemes of the government, till now more than one lakh women have become millionaires in the state.Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami said that he has seen his mother working in his childhood, hence he knows what difficulties mothers and sisters face.
The Chief Minister said that today women are producing wonderful products through self-help groups or personal efforts, which are in demand all over the world. The government is providing them marketing facilities through Saras Mela, House of Himalayas brand.The Chief Minister said that whatever product you are preparing, take full care of quality, packaging and cleanliness, if these things are disciplined then success is certain.।He said that the government is trying to create more opportunities for business and self-reliance to stop migration from rural areas. Mothers and sisters play an important role in reducing migration.
The Chief Minister said that under the guidance of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, the government is making special efforts for the empowerment of mother power. Women groups are being given loans of five lakh rupees without interest. Along with this, Strong Brahmin Utsav Scheme, CM Women Self Help Group Scheme are also being run. Support of more than Rs 84 crore has been provided under the Women Self Help Group Scheme,Also, a rebate of Rs 25 crore has been provided on interest. So far, business worth Rs 4 crore 20 lakh has been done under the Chief Minister Sashakt Bahana Utsav Yojana.
The Chief Minister said that the government is also opening outlets of groups on the Yatra route, and in Delhi too, products of women’s groups will be available under the House of Himalayas.The government is working on the target of making 1.5 lakh sisters Lakhpati Didi by 2025.
