UTTARAKHAND CM Dhami participated in the 43rd India International Trade Fair (IIFT2024) Uttarakhand Day celebrations organized at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi on Sunday. On this occasion, the Chief Minister also visited the stalls based on various products of Uttarakhand. Chief Minister Shri Pushkar Singh Dhami said that no matter where the people of Uttarakhand go to India or abroad, they always keep their culture, folk traditions, food and sense of belonging alive. Aipan and Ganga Dussehra are always seen at their homes. He said that this international fair gives us an opportunity to bring and present our culture, handicrafts and rich heritage on the global platform. The best products of the state have been brought in various stalls in the fair.
It has also been decided to form Uttarakhand Pravasi Parishad so that Uttarakhand migrants can contribute to the development of the state. The Chief Minister urged all the migrants to participate in the development of Uttarakhand.The Chief Minister said that Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has resolved to make the country a developed India by 2047, on which our country is moving forward rapidly. Due to the visionary thinking of the Prime Minister, the country is setting new records. In the last 10 years, the country has progressed rapidly in every field. Many schemes like Make in India, Startup India have established India as a hub of startups, thereby creating self-employment in the country. Today India has become the 5th largest economy in the world.
The Chief Minister said hri Narendra Modi had described the third decade of the 21st century as the decade of Uttarakhand from the land of Kedarnatthat Uttarakhand has completed 24 years of its establishment. Now the state has entered its silver jubilee. Prime Minister Sh. The state government is putting those words of the Prime Minister into practice. Our state is progressing in every field. The dream of reaching the mountains by rail is being fulfilled with the construction of Rishikesh Karnaprayag railway line. Under the UDAN scheme, heli service is being started at many places in the state. Our state is doing historic work in every field like roads, education, health. 20 model colleges are being established along with the medical colleges of the state. AIIMS satellite center is also being built in Udham Singh Nagar. The Chief Minister said that along with strengthening the infrastructure in the state, local industries are also being strengthened.It is becoming self-reliant in many fields like agriculture, horticulture, handicrafts. The women of the state are actively participating in making Uttarakhand self-reliant. The women of the state are providing employment to other people as well. Women are playing an important role in the progress of the state.More than 1 lakh women have become Lakhpati Didi in the state. The doors of employment are being opened through many policies in the state. Union Minister of State Shri Ajay Tamta said that Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami ji is continuously working to fulfill the objective for which the state was created.
He said that through such programs the state of Uttarakhand is contributing to Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of a developed India. Today the products of Uttarakhand are reaching India and abroad.Our state is continuously moving forward as a new destination. On the occasion of Yoga Day, the Chief Minister has taken Adi Kailash to the whole world by doing yoga in Adi Kailash.Former Chief Minister Shri Tirath Singh Rawat said that this grand fair is being organized under the leadership of the Chief Minister. He said that according to the vision of the Prime Minister, local products have been promoted here.Today, the demand for Uttarakhand’s products is continuously increasing in the country and abroad. Secretary Industries Shri Vinay Shankar Pandey said that in the last 7 days of India International Trade Fair, local products of Uttarakhand worth Rs 1 crore 16 lakh have been sold. Along with this, hand craftsmen have also received orders worth Rs 2 crore. The demand for state products is continuously increasing in the country. He said that under the leadership of the Chief Minister, tourism in the state of Uttarakhand,Along with strengthening agriculture, industry and rural development, cultural heritage is also being conserved.
